To provide a superior cannabis experience that elevates the mind, body and soul.
Our Vision
Using decades of experience and knowledge, along with careful selection of genetics and in house breeding, we are committed to creating new strains and ways to engage with the cannabis plant through a portfolio of cannabinoid infused products.
Our Story
The 3C Team collectively boasts decades of cannabis experience from growing in basements of houses in Woodland Hills, cultivating an original cut of OG in the late 90’s, and owning one of LA’s longest standing dispensaries which is now 3C Cannabis, Canoga Park. Our personal passions for the plant motivated each of us to establish professional careers in cannabis. And from that 3C Cannabis and 3C Cannabis Cannabis came to be.
The details of our history are shared below in a detailed timeline.
We proudly feature approximately twenty-two strains of cannabis in our library and have multiple grow rooms constantly rotating through the genetics. Our strains and products can be found at our 3C Cannabis dispensaries in Canoga Park and Downtown LA, as well as multiple other licensed cannabis retail locations throughout the state.
Our speciality is small batch, indoor cultivation in grow rooms that are moderately sized allowing us to tailor nutrient, lighting, and environmental conditions to suit each strains specific needs. The result provides us with flowers that are dense in structure, rich in terpene profiles and boast potent cannabinoid percentages – the triple threat and ultimate entourage effect.
1992
3C Farms Founder & Head Cultivator Bryan follows his passion for the plant and starts his first grow. Early one morning, Bryan is arrested in a gated community near a friend’s house in Calabasas; he was tapping the local water source for his 80 outdoor Kush plants.
1994
Not to be deterred, Bryan continued to explore cannabis cultivation and genetics. He worked to perfect his cultivation skills in these early days using unknown strains from bag seeds, learning from his mistakes and diving deeper into what methods worked best. In 1994, he successfully harvested 12 Northern Lights plants grown in soil.
1996
Two years after his first successful harvest, Bryan moved to a house in Woodland Hills, CA. He took things to the next level and converted the basement into his first full on indoor grow room.
Additionally, in 1996 California passed Proposition 215 which permits the use of medical cannabis.
1998
After growing in soil for years, Bryan switched his grow over to hydroponics. Things took a serious turn in his garden after making this switch and upon acquiring an original OG cut…
1999-2002
Bryan continues to expand his love and passion for cultivating cannabis over the years, perfecting his techniques and methods, growing in new spaces such as warehouses and larger houses. In this period of time, he starts to share his love and knowledge of the plant with friends and family and thus, without knowing or trying, 3C Farms was starting to form…
2006
Cali’s Finest Compassionate Cooperative Pre-ICO dispensary opens its door in West LA. Waylon Broussard is one of the co-founders of Cali’s Finest and will later become The General of 3C Farms.
2008
Bryan and Chris start their first grow together.
2009
Bryan becomes Cali’s Finest primary vendor for OG strains; Bryan and Waylon become close friends and essential players in one another’s businesses.
2013
Bryan and Chris Malcolm, CEO of 3C Farms, purchase the license for Cali’s Finest from the Broussard Family. The license is then transferred to what is now the Coast to Coast Canoga Park location. Bryan uses the space and legal freedom to create the first strains in a long line of 3C crosses.
2014
Coast to Coast in Canoga Park officially opens as a medical cannabis dispensary.
2015
The group continues to expand and acquires Grateful Meds, a long time standing dispensary in Downtown LA. They changed the name to Cannabal City Collective and officially opened its doors for business in November 2015.
2016
3C Farms brand is born and becomes the exclusive flower provider to Coast to Coast, Canoga Park and Cannabal City Collective, DTLA.
2018
California passes the Adult Use Marijuana Act (Proposition 64) which allows for anyone over the age of 21 to legally purchase cannabis products from licensed retailers.
On January 5th, Coast to Coast Canoga Park became a licensed recreational use dispensary and 3C Farms started to distribute its flower and products to other licensed retailers via Proposition 64.
The switch was not so smooth for Cannabal City due to city laws and the group had to start an arduous legal process to become a Prop 64 recreational dispensary in the Arts District of Downtown LA.
2019
A city hearing is held that awards the 3C Team with the license and ownership of Grateful Meds.
Additionally, the group acquired a new facility in Lancaster, CA which will allow for a massive expansion of cultivation, production and extraction. The Lancaster facility is the beginning of the next phase for 3C Farms.
2020
California’s Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) recognizes and issues the adult use license for the Cannabal City Location in DTLA.
